How to Sign Up for Oracle’s Race to Certification 2025
1. Visit Oracle’s “Race to Certification 2025” Portal
Head to the Oracle Education or Oracle University website and locate the Race to Certification 2025 promotion page. This page provides an overview of the program, tracks, and benefits. Link. Click Join the Race
2. Sign In or Register with Oracle SSO
If you already have an Oracle Single Sign-On (SSO) account, simply log in using your credentials.
If not, you’ll be guided through the registration process to create a free Oracle SSO account.
3. Activate the Race Promotion
After logging in, find the “Activate” option on the program page to officially enroll in the Race to Certification. This step unlocks your free exam attempts and access to training content.
4. Explore Your Learning Paths
Once activated, you can browse through different learning tracks, including:
OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
AI (Artificial Intelligence)
Multicloud
Data Platform
Each track includes curated courses and certification paths (both Foundations-level and Professional-level options).
5. Train + Certify to Level Up
6. Access Training and Schedule Exams
Training content includes digital courses, hands-on labs, and guided learning modules.
You can schedule your certification exams directly via your MyLearn dashboard.
7. Track Progress and Earn Rewards
Earn digital badges and achievement kits after completing each level.
Climb the Race leaderboard for recognition and potential top-performer rewards.
If you're among the top 500 finishers (based on speed, volume, and scores), you might get additional exam attempts and exclusive swag.
Part 1: Oracle Race to Certification
Oracle Race to Certification has three levels — usually Explorer (entry), Champion (intermediate), and Master (final proctored cert). The idea is to complete guided learning, quizzes, and a final cert exam.
Timeline
You have about 11 weeks until Oct 31. We’ll do Oracle first because it’s sequential.
Week 1–2 (Aug 14–27) – Level 1 (Explorer)
Goal: Finish foundational modules on your chosen Oracle path (likely OCI Foundations Associate).
Daily Commitment: 1–2 hours.
Actions:
Register on the Oracle Learning platform for the Race to Certification challenge.
Complete all learning path videos, reading, and practice quizzes.
Take the Level 1 badge quiz.
Tip: Treat this as a warm-up; focus on terminology and key service names.
Week 3–5 (Aug 28–Sep 17) – Level 2 (Champion)
Goal: Deep dive into the intermediate course (OCI Architect Associate or Developer).
Daily Commitment: 2–3 hours (weekdays), 4+ on weekends.
Actions:
Follow the official Oracle guided learning modules.
Use Hands-on Labs (free sandbox provided in the Race program).
Do at least 2–3 mock tests each week.
Take Level 2 assessment as soon as you consistently hit 80%+ in practice.
Week 6–9 (Sep 18–Oct 15) – Level 3 (Master / Final Cert Exam)
Goal: Pass the full Oracle proctored certification.
Daily Commitment: 3 hours.
Actions:
Schedule exam in Week 8 (buffer in case of reschedule).
Revise using Oracle Exam Prep PDFs + practice tests.
Focus on OCI core services, pricing, architecture best practices.
Week 10–11 (Oct 16–31) – Buffer & Review
Goal: Retake any needed quizzes, complete pending badges, submit cert claim forms.
Actions:
Go through weak topics again.
Take any additional Oracle certs you can within free offer period.
Part 2: AWS Educate Free Certification
AWS Educate offers free learning & certification vouchers for certain exams (often AWS Cloud Practitioner, Developer Associate, or ML Specialty).
Timeline Integration
We can parallel this starting Week 4, since AWS Cloud Practitioner is lightweight compared to Oracle’s intermediate levels.
Week 4–6 (Sep 4–24) – AWS Cloud Practitioner
Goal: Complete AWS Educate Cloud Practitioner course + pass exam.
Daily Commitment: 1 hour alongside Oracle prep.
Actions:
Enroll in AWS Educate and choose Cloud Practitioner.
Complete learning modules (videos + labs).
Take AWS Skill Builder practice exams.
Schedule exam for Week 6.
Week 7–8 (Sep 25–Oct 8) – Optional AWS Associate Level
If bandwidth allows, target AWS Solutions Architect Associate using AWS Educate resources.
