Some tools to automate and aid your job search
As someone who applied over 1200 jobs for internships and 1000 opportunities for my first job, it was gruelling process. And that means also documenting these opportunities, creating cover letters, customized resumes and other mundane tasks. But, in 2025, we have so many tools that can help you with these exact tasks. I wish these tools were available because I would have saved 20-40 mins on these tasks.
Here are the 10 chrome extensions : (most have few free versions. There are also some that may have paid versions for added functionality).

WORK HUNTY : Link
This free chrome extension allows you easily track the jobs that you are applying to. With one click from within Linkedin you can quickly log the jobs that you have applied to and accelerate your job hunting process. You can then add details like what CV or Cover letter you used, what stage in the interview process you are in, who you spoke to during interviews, any notes that you might have etc. Plus, the tool has a built-in feature that alerts you if you've previously applied to a particular job, which is especially useful when companies frequently repost the same position. With this extension, you can streamline your job search and stay organized.

In today's competitive job market, it can be challenging to distinguish yourself from the multitude of applicants on online platforms. Huntr : Link
You can organise your tracked jobs in a kanban system which might be useful if you are familiar with using project management software such as Jira or Trello. One disadvantage is that the free plan only allows you to track 40 jobs. In today's market you could apply to 40 jobs in 1 day so the paid option would be a must and is at the time of writing 10 USD a month.

It’s similar to Work Hunty and Huntr but again to really benefit from it you need the paid version as the free one only offers you the ability to track 25 jobs
